Iarsic hosted the 3rd International Conference ComSymbol on “Religion(s), secularity(ies), society(ies) and the digital humanities turn”, organized at Paul Valéry University of Montpellier 3, France by the Institute for Advanced Religious Studies and Internetworking Communication (IARSIC), Essachess, Corhis (EA7400) and Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF).
Over forty scholars from 11 countries were welcomed at the Paul Valéry University – site Saint Charles by Professor Stefan BRATOSIN, the director of the IARSIC and Mihaela-Alexandra Tudor, Associate Professor habilit, scientific co-responsible of this event.
The keynote addresses were gave by fr. Hervé Ponsot, o.p., Prieur Couvent des Dominicains, Eric Sales, Associate Professor habilit. at CERCOP, University of Montpellier, and Boudjemaa Laliam, President of the Observatoire de la laïcité Montpellier LR d’Ensemble et Citoyens Pour Montpellier.
