This book is the result of the 3^rd International Conference on “Legislation, ethics and religion: an approach in the context of religious freedom” organized by the Association Conscience and Liberty and the Romanian Parliament, Chamber of Deputies in partnership with International Religious Liberty Association, International Association for the Defense of Religious Liberty (USA), The Institute for Peace Studies in Eastern Christianity (USA), and The Institute for Advanced Religious Studies and Internetworking Communication (Iarsic-Corhis) (France). The contributions in English, French and Romanian focus on secularity (laicité), religious freedom and human rights issues in the public sphere.
